Oscar Robertson

Oscar Robertson, nicknamed "The Big O", played 14 seasons in the NBA with the Cincinnati Royals and the Milwaukee Bucks. Robertson was the first player to truly define the point guard position as he always had control of a ball game. He was once the only player to average a triple-double in a season in NBA History, a record he held single-handedly for a long time. Bio: Oscar Palmer Robertson was born on November 24, 1938, in Charlotte, Tennessee. Robertson grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended Crispus Attucks High School, an all-black school. In high school, Robertson led his team to the state finals in 1955. For college, Robertson attended the University of Cincinnati where he made history as the first black player at the university and won three straight College Player of the Year awards. Clyde Drexler

Clyde Drexler, nicknamed "The Glide", played 15 seasons in the NBA with the Portland Trailblazers and the Houston Rockets. Drexler was one of the best shooting guards of his era and was always a runner up to Michael Jordan's success. Bio: Clyde Austin Drexler was born on June 22,1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Drexler lived in Houston, Texas where he attended Ross Sterling High School. For college, Drexler attended the University of Houston where he became part of the most famous college basketball team of the early 1980s, Phi Slama Jama Cougars. Karl Malone

Karl Malone, nicknamed "The Mailman", played 19 seasons in the NBA with the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers, but is most remembered for his time playing for the Utah Jazz. Being second on the all-time scoring list, Malone had sheer power and became one of the greatest power forwards of all time. Malone was one of the hardest working players as he always desired to train in the gym and work on conditioning, so The Mailman would always deliver. Moses Malone

Moses Malone, nicknamed "Big Mo", played 2 seasons in the ABA and 19 seasons in the NBA with the Utah Stars, Spirits of St. Louis, Buffalo Braves, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, and San Antonio Spurs. Although Malone has played for a wide variety of teams, he is best known for his time playing for the Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers. With low athleticism and unenlarged hands, hard work and dedication paved the way for Malone's successful career.
