Oscar Robertson

Oscar Robertson, nicknamed "The Big O", played 14 seasons in the NBA with the Cincinnati Royals and the Milwaukee Bucks. Robertson was the first player to truly define the point guard position as he always had control of a ball game. He was once the only player to average a triple-double in a season in NBA History, a record he held single-handedly for a long time.

Bio:
Oscar Palmer Robertson was born on November 24, 1938, in Charlotte, Tennessee. Robertson grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended Crispus Attucks High School, an all-black school. In high school, Robertson led his team to the state finals in 1955. For college, Robertson attended the University of Cincinnati where he made history as the first black player at the university and won three straight College Player of the Year awards. Robertson also was part of the 1960 Olympics team that won a gold medal.

Robertson was drafted 1st overall by the Cincinnati Royals as a territorial pick in 1960. As a rookie, Robertson averaged 30.5 points,  10.1 rebounds and 9.7. But in his second season, Robertson averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists which made him the only player ever to average double digits in three different stat categories. Robertson sought a championship title for Cincinnati but could never reach that goal.

In 1970, the Royals traded Robertson to the Milwaukee Bucks where he joined forces with a young star center Lew Alcindor, known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In 1971 the Bucks would win their first and only championship, which was also Robertson's only championship.

Karl Malone

Karl Malone, nicknamed "The Mailman", played 19 seasons in the NBA with the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers, but is most remembered for his time playing for the Utah Jazz. Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett, nicknamed the "Big Ticket" played 21 seasons in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and the Brooklyn Nets. Garnett was one of the best players in his era and is one of the greatest power forwards of all time.
