
Kevin Garnett, nicknamed the "Big Ticket" played 21 seasons in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, and the Brooklyn Nets. Garnett was one of the best players in his era and is one of the greatest power forwards of all time. Garnett has also lead the league in rebounds per game for four consecutive seasons and was named MVP in 2004.

Bio:
Kevin Maurice Garnett was born on May 19, 1976, in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Mauldin High School before transferring to Farragut Academy.

Entering straight from high school, Garnett was selected as the 5th pick in the first round of the 1995 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

From his time with the Wolves, Garnett would make a number of playoffs appearances playing with Stephon Marbury, Latrell Sprewell, Sam Cassel, and Mark Madsen.

In 2007, Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtics where he became part of a championship team in 2008. A team that consisted of Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins beat the Kobe Bryant led Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals. The Celtics would return to the Finals in 2010 but would be beaten by the reigning champion Lakers.

In 2013, Garnett and Pierce were traded to the Brooklyn Nets. On the team, Garnett would join Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone as the only players to achieve 25,000 points 14,000 rebounds and 5,000 assists in a career.

In 2015, Garnett returned to the Wolves where he played one final season.
