Julius Erving

Julius "Dr.J" Erving played for two basketball leagues, the American Basketball Association(ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played in the ABA from 1971-1976 with the Virginia Squires then the New York Nets, and played in the NBA from 1976-1987 with the Philadelphia 76ers. Dr. J performed his own style of play with moves that have never been created before him. He won the very first slam dunk contest where he became the first to leap from the free throw line and dunk the ball in. He is truly the revolutionary of the slam dunk and is the greatest ABA player of all time and one of the greatest players of all time period. Magic Johnson

Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. played 12 years in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers. Magic is widely regarded as the greatest point guard of all time and on of the greatest players of all time. Magic has became a true inspiration to the game of basketball with his flashy style of play. Bio: Magic was born on August 14, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan where he was raised. Magic attended Everett High School, where he earned his nickname "Magic" by recording a triple-double as a 15 year old sophomore. For college he attended Michigan State University, where he won the 1979 NCAA National Championship versus Larry Bird's Indiana State University. Magic was drafted as the first pick in the first round of the 1979 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Michael Jeffery Jordan played about 14 years in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards, but is best remembered as a Chicago Bull. Michael Jordan has been said by many to be the greatest basketball player of all time and greatest athlete of all time because of his iconic performances and achievements. Bio: Jordan was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. For high school, Jordan would attend would attend Laney High School, where he was first noticed to have a special talent on the court. When Jordan was a sophomore, he was cut from the school varsity team because he wasn't considered to be tall enough. Allen Ezail Iverson had a 14 year long NBA career playing with the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, and Memphis Grizzlies. But he was best remembered as playing on the Philadelphia 76ers. Iverson has no doubt become one of the most iconic athletes on the planet with his unique style and gameplay. Kobe Bean Bryant had a 20 year long career playing for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1996 to 2016. Bryant retired as one of the greatest players of all time as he performed some of the best moments in sports history. Bio : Bryant was born in his family's hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 23 ,1978. When Bryant was young, him and his family moved to Rieti, Italy where his father, Joe Bryant, played basketball overseas after an 8 year NBA career.
