Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley, nicknamed Sir Charles, played 16 years in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, and Houston Rockets. Barkley is known as one of the toughest players of all time who used his strength and aggressive behavior to become an elite competitor. Bio: Charles Wade Barkley was born on February 20, 1963, in Leeds Alabama. He attended Leeds High School where he played as a starter during his senior year. Barkley was recruited to play for Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama where he studied business management. Averaging 9.6 rebound his entire college career, Barkley was found to be unique. Barkley was selected as the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 1984 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. Larry Bird

Larry Bird, nicknamed "Larry Legend", played 13 years in the NBA with the Boston Celtics. Although Bird played for the Celtics his whole career, his prime was during the early 1980's. Bird is widely regarded as the greatest shooter of all time and one of the greatest players of all time as well as the best trash talker of all time. Bird was arguably the most difficult player to stop with a shooting range that was literally never performed before him. Bio: Larry Joe Bird was born on December 7, 1956, in West Baden Springs, Indiana and grew up in French Lick Indiana. Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O'Neal, best known as Shaq, played 19 years in the NBA with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics. Although Shaq played for many teams, he is best remembered for playing for the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers. Shaq was one of the most skilled players of his era and possibly of all time with a unique strength that set him apart from other athletes. Isiah Thomas

Isiah Thomas played 13 years in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons.  He is well known as one of the best point guards of all time and part of the "Bad Boys" Pistons era in the late 1980's. Bio: Isiah Lord Thomas III was born on April 30, 1961, in Chicago Illinois where he had a rough upbringing due to the danger in the area he lived. Thomas didn't grow up studying NBA players on television, he instead studied local street players including his brother. He attended St. Joseph High School, a private school, where he lead the team to the state finals. For college, he attended Indiana University and played for the Hoosiers where he won a National Championship in 1981. Thomas was drafted as the second pick in the first round of the 1981 NBA Finals.
