Bio:
Dennis Keith Rodman was born on May 13, 1961, in Trenton, New Jersey. Growing up without his father, Rodman grew up in Dallas where he attended South Oak Cliff High School. Rodman was not the most explosive athlete in high school, meaning he was benched many times. After high school, Rodman worked as a janitor at a nearby airport. While working at the airport, he grew a few inches and decided to return to basketball by attending North Central Texas College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Rodman was drafted as the 3rd pick in the 2nd round of the 1986 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. Rodman would make his mark as a lockdown defender and a hustle rebounder.

By joining the Pistons, Rodman became an important part of the "Bad Boy" Pistons dynasty of the late 1980s. Playing for head coach Chuck Daly and alongside Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Bill Laimbeer, John Sally, and Mark Aguirre, the Pistons would win two straight championships in 1989 and 1990.

In 1993, Rodman was traded to the San Antonio Spurs where he played 2 seasons with players David Robinson and Vinnie Del Negro.

In 1995, Rodman was traded to the Chicago Bulls for Will Perdue. Rodman would help the Bulls form one of the greatest NBA teams of all time playing for Phil Jackson and alongside the legend Michael Jordan and All-Star Scottie Pippen. The Bulls would produce three straight championships with Rodman on the team.

In 1999, Rodman was sent to the Los Angeles Lakers where he played 23 games with All-Star Shaquille O'Neal and a young Kobe Bryant.
