Vince Carter, nicknamed "Vinsanity" has played 20 seasons in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors, the New York Nets, the Orlando Magic, the Phoenix Suns, the Dallas Mavericks, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Sacramento Kings, and the Atlanta Hawks. Although Vince has played for a wide variety of teams, he is best known for his time as a Toronto Raptor. Vince is one of the greatest dunkers of all time and is said by many to be the greatest dunker of all time. His best-known feat was earning his slam dunk title in the 2000 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest as he became a true inspiration to the future of basketball.

Vincent Lamar Carter was born on January 26, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Carter attended Mainland High School, where he became a McDonald's All-American.

For college, Carter attended the University of North Carolina and instantly became a top prospect in the draft.

Carter was selected as the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 1998 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors but was immediately traded to the Toronto Raptors.

Carter would display his high level of athleticism by performing high-flying acts that were unimaginable, earning him Rookie of the Year in 1999. Carter also played with his Hall of Fame cousin, Tracy McGrady, as well as players such as Antonio Davis, Charles Oakley, Dell Curry, and Muggsy Bogues.

During the 2000 NBA All-Star Weekend in Oakland, Carter made history in the Slam Dunk Contest where he instantly earned his reputation as one of the greatest dunkers of all time. Carters's earning of the championship is arguably the best dunk contest performed by a single player ever.

After a long 6 seasons with the Raptors, Carter was traded to the New Jersey Nets in 2004 where he played five seasons with Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson.

In 2009, Carter was traded to the Orlando Magic where he played one season with Dwight Howard.

In 2010, Carter was traded to the Phoenix Suns where he played one season with Steve Nash and Channing Frye.

In 2011, Carter signed with the Dallas Mavericks where he played three seasons with Dirk Nowitzki and former teammate Jason Kidd.
