
Dwyane Wade, nicknamed "The Flash", has played 16 seasons in the NBA with the Miami Heat, the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although Wade has played for more than one team, he is best remembered for his time playing for the Miami Heat. Wade was one of the greatest players of the decade who ruled the league in his prime.

Dwyane Tyrone Wade was born on January 17, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Harold L. Richards High School.

For college, Wade attended Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where he became popular for winning the Conference USA Championship in 2003.

Wade was selected as the 5th pick in the 1st round of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat.

Wade quickly emerged as one of the popular young players in the league but was less noticed due to the success of other rookies such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh.

In 2004, NBA star-center Shaquille O'Neal was traded to the Miami Heat from the Los Angeles Lakers. In 2006, the Heat won the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks 4-2.

In 2010 the Miami Heat acquired NBA superstars LeBron James and Chris Bosh to form the Miami Heat Big Three dynasty.

The dynasty won back to back championships in 2012 and 2013.

In 2016, Wade signed with the Chicago Bulls for a chance to play for his hometown.

In 2017, Wade signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers where he was reunited with LeBron James for a few months.

Wade's current team is back with the Miami Heat. Wade has planned to retire after the 2018-2019 season,
