
Scottie Pippen played 17 seasons in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, and Portland Trailblazers. Pippen was an example of a truly accomplished player earning two three-straight championships, eight-time all NBA Defensive Team, and the all-time leader in steals by a forward.

Bio:
Scottie Maurice Pippen was born on September 25, 1965, in Hamburg, Arkansas. He attended Hamburg High School where he played point guard and led his team to various state playoffs. For college, he attended the University of Central Arkansas starting at the height 6 foot 1. By Pippen's senior year, he grew to become 6 foot 8.

Pippen was selected as the fifth pick in the first round of the 1987 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics but was immediately traded to the Chicago Bulls.

Pippen joined the Eastern Conference team that had NBA legend Michael Jordan, power forward Charles Oakley, point guard John Paxson, and small forward Brad Sellers.



With Jordan and Pippen, the Bulls won three straight NBA Championships from 1991 to 1993.
